In 2005, away in a vacation, The United States president at the time, George W. Bush read a book by John M. Barry titled The Great Influenza, a crystal clear record of events that occurred during the deadly 1918 pandemic that affected one-third of the entire earth’s population, while killing 50 million.
He noticed, there was a 100 year wide recurring decimal of Pandemic outbreak through past history of such outbreak in any generation, in the same way we trained geologists know there is a “likely” earthquake going to happen along San Andreas Fault California, United States, every 150 years.
Very much like saying, a Pandemic is the boundary between two Era, the same way an ocean is a boundary between two continents.
From the moment he made that observation, he knew it was the voice of God and he must act to save the American people from a pending brutal and devastating global disaster.
He set up committees and put up infrastructures to handle the demon, when it’d eventually strike.
It received huge funding and many within his government and those in the public didn't make much sense of putting huge funds on mere speculation when America has clear and touchable immediate needs.
From that book, he was able to quantify the cost of a Pandemic, and it was quite high, and even twice as cost not to even prepare.
In his words, “If we wait for a Pandemic to appear, it will be too late to prepare”.
That Pandemic is eventually here, Corona Virus code-named COVID-19, a cruel protein coated virus that penetrates human and animal cells and hypnotize good and protective body cells to turn evil and begin to attack the body it once protected.

It has affected up to 1 million people worldwide and has killed over 70,000 people already, and the sad news is, it is still on rampage.
It came exactly 101 years after the deadly Influenza Pandemic of 1918, just as Mr Bush observed.
Whether, the United States took the project seriously after Mr. Bush left office is what we will know by the reaction of the American state in this forewarned event.
Some of the infrastructures the United States is using in their war against COVID-19 presently was put in place by the Bush administration from what he found in A BOOK.
Visionary Leadership! Seeing the Future before it becomes Present, and like a talented genetic scientist, twisting the DNA to become a favourable outcome for all.
Since a Pandemic, seems to usher us into a new Era, I take the pleasure to welcome you all into a New Era.
Things will not be the known normal anymore.
Times just changed before our very eyes.
A New Era of New Thinking, New Businesses, New Religion, New Education, New Relationship and New Society in totality is here.
We just left the Era of Survival for the Fittest, into the Era of Survival for the Smartest.
By the message from Corona Virus, even a mere hand-shake can cripple not just global economy, it can also annihilate the entire human race.
Spacing or distancing, might become our new lifestyle in human relationship, worship, academics, business and society from now on, as a measure to avert repeated occurrences.

We will be a little apart from the outside world.

We will be more united globally.
We just experienced an eruptive Global Civilizationing, where almost the entire world is fighting only one enemy with their available resources, or with a little help from the international community.
We have just been mumbled into the Era where smartness, creativity, Innovation and Technology far outwit fitness.
The Global Economy will henceforth be piloted by the activities of the online marketplace.
Everyone must upgrade to survive in this Era, what I have used the word, Global Civilizationing to describe in this text.
Every nation and people who does not want a strike by Corona Virus or any other virus, easily transmitted or even more deadly than COVID-19 again must adapt to a more less crowded and decently spaced population or society.
Society must take a whole new architecture completely.
We must build infrastructures now, now and now.
The Nigerian government has called on Schools to go online pending the time it is able to contain the virus, that followed after Argentina and a few others made the same call.
THIS MEANS LEARNING ALSO JUST WENT ONLINE.
Now the quality of a nation's education, or any education at all, will now depend on the quality of their Online infrastructure on ground and the percentage of their learning population that have affordable access to high speed internet, or any access at all.
If we will rank among the top global learning institutes, everyone must have a good knowledge of technology and the internet, both teachers and students, staffs of government, private business owners and employees, rural and urban societies, old and young.
We must equip ourselves, for this emerging market that many like Jeff Bezos and his Amazon, online retail store, have been reaping billions of dollars from even before now.
Worship facilities just reduced the number of people who can be at a worship facility at a time, others have to live stream over the internet.
WORSHIP JUST ALSO WENT ONLINE.
In parts of Nigeria, Banks are completely closed, you can only use the ATM if you have any cash needs.
BANKING ALSO JUST WENT ONLINE.
Some grocery stores are equally closed, you may have to order online.
GROCERY ALSO JUST WENT ONLINE.

We know this phace will soon be over, but we don't know exactly when and it is economically risky to be locked down for too long, and this is why YOU AND I ALSO MUST GO ONLINE.
We must master the art of being productive and effective right in the comfort of your living rooms, with your wife coming over to gist with you over work, as you hear the beautiful voices of your lovely kids, calling"mommy", "daddy".
A GLOBAL NETWORK WITH NO LIMITATIONS IS THE NEW ERA.

It is a clear message that we must mend our ways, yes this Pandemic is also a teacher, bad as it may.
A teacher particularly to Africans and her leadership.
We must build our healthcare system.
We must invest in education than in anything else.
Our small and old must have a good knowledge of emerging technologies and their huge potentials.
We must invest hugely in the infrastructures that will enable us tap from the multi-trillion dollars online marketplace.
Government should encourage online businesses and technologies emerging from Africa.
We must be open minded rather than religious conscious.
We must develop and encourage philanthropy in our continent.
Government should be more accessible by the people.
We need more than ever, Visionary Leadership.
We need young, intelligent and brilliant minds to hold senate positions, ministries and every government parastatals. People who can ask the right questions and understand the right answers, and act on them in time. For instance, Mr Babajide Sanwo Olu, the vibrant governor of Lagos State and Mr Udom Emmanuel, the governor of my beautiful state, Akwa Ibom State.
We need it more Now, than in any other Era.
We must also make laws that will make the online environment safe and friendly for all, just as we have in our physical society.
Lets be supportive of any technology that does not physically or biological destroy us, but gives us wider internet and online options, at a very great speed.
Africa,
We can either wait for too long debating religiously and praying for things to return to the previous normal, or face the reality of the New Era that just happened before us.
Things were not supposed to be the same forever. That is why one feature of a human being is Adaptation, ability to change or adjust to changing factors of our society in order to Stay Safe and Stay Alive.
All these paragraphs says one thing; the world just went online and so should Africa, not later than NOW.
If we start the race of self-development and global competition with others, just immediately the shot goes off, with our creativity and determination, we might hit the finish line first.
This message serves as a forewarning to Nigeria and Africa, just like President George W. Bush 2005 warning of a Pandemic that is sadly with us at the moment, but whether we do anything with this, is what we would have to wait to find out.
