AS YOU TURN THREE OLIVIA

    Olivia as a baby.

Being an uncle for the first time hits differently.

I didn't know until the morning Olivia was born.

I was an MC at a nearly 2 decades Wedding Anniversary of this admirable couple.

They were so young with grown children.

It was a beautiful evening of friends and family clustering to celebrate unending love.

I mean that evening was unusually peaceful and different.

I can't correctly describe it.

You know, the calm.

Totally inexplicable.

Something more happened that night, Laycon of Big Brother Naija season 5 won the lockdown season.

It was a night of multiple eruptive moments.

The night was super.

Moments after moments after moments.

One could conclude we have had enough of the moments.

But then the last minute brought the last dose.

The call that broke the news.

"Glory to God,"

"We have a baby girl"

She was Olivia.

It was 28 September 2020.

From that second I loved her.

It was automatic.

She's 3 today.

And she's already created special memories in our lives.

Good part is, we're gist partners already.

Dear niece,

As you float in the angelic realm of childhood, may you always be happy.

May you have the best childhood.

Childhood of colourful memories.

I pray for you to be the head always everywhere you go.

May lines fall for you in amazing places.

May God prepare for you a table in the presence of your enemies.

May God take your hands to subdue nations.

May God be a shield for you, your healer and the lifter of your head.

May you lend to Africa and the world and may you never borrow.

May you be rich with the blessings of God.

May your parent be blessed.

I, Uncle Blessing, Aunty Koko, Baby David, Daddy and Mommy love you so much.

❤️

In the end we would love to meet their needs in form of uniforms, school sandals, school fees for the very less privileged.

We are calling for your voluntary donations because our resources are limited and we'd love to reach more children.

We need your help, it'd make a child smile.
