VICTOR COSMAS BLOG: THE BIG NEWS IS HERE — 13 Years of Independent Writing, Global Voice, and Peace Advocacy






18 May 2012, thirteen years ago, I wrote my first post.

“The Joy of Success.”

Then came “Ideas Are All You Need,”
followed by “You Can Make the Right Kind of History,” and then, “What Is in a Woman.”

After that, I wrote “A Good and True Friend,” in honour of my American friend, Ebony.
Then, “Procrastination Is Certainly Why You Are Down There.”

All were hits.

With “My Voice for 2015: Nigeria 🇳🇬, Lets Make This Our Voice,” my August 9, 2013 blog post attracted the attention of prominent Nigerians on the former Twitter — now Elon Musk’s X.

Since then, I have gone on to publish over 70 posts.

But all these were born from a desire to make a contribution to Nigeria 🇳🇬 through her youths.

It was to create a voice that many only wish they had — a global voice that speaks to truth, peace, and unity.

I dabbled into writing because I believed words could move mountains — and indeed, they can.

Because of our choice of topics, the Google AdSense program could not activate for monetization. That didn’t even matter.


And it will never matter.

I’m deeply grateful to Google for the platform itself.


It gave us a voice.

Over the years, 10,448 readers have visited our page — with President Donald Trump’s United States of America 🇺🇸 ranking number one with over 3,000 readers. Nigeria 🇳🇬, our beloved country, follows closely with 2,200+ readers. Russia 🇷🇺 came third with 665 readers, followed by Germany 🇩🇪, the United Kingdom 🇬🇧, and others including France 🇫🇷, Singapore 🇸🇬, Canada 🇨🇦, Sweden 🇸🇪, Netherlands 🇳🇱, Kenya 🇰🇪, Türkiye 🇹🇷, UAE 🇦🇪, Ireland 🇮🇪, Ukraine 🇺🇦, India 🇮🇳, Austria 🇦🇹, Vietnam 🇻🇳, China 🇨🇳, and many others.

It has always been a message of peace, a call to responsibility, and a platform for unbiased analysis — to both the Government and the people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

And it remains so till this day.

Our contents are not mere theories; they are products of thorough research and credible events. I take this aspect very seriously.

Through it all, I have met good friends from faraway countries I never imagined I would.

I have been agreed with, and I have been disagreed with — yet we have always maintained respect, adjusting when necessary, or standing firm when conviction demands it.

For 13 years, we have served unadulterated contents of local and international relevance.

Free of charge.

There is no price big enough for freedom.

And I remain convinced that evil thrives when good men say nothing — and writing is my only avenue to speak.

About 2024. Frankly, the year was a mix. A mix blend of the good, the bad and the ugly. The economy on the Nigerian side was a deep red. It was a tough year for businesses and families.
