YOU WERE BORN WITH A BRICK

Wow friends and readers! It is my great pleasure again to be sharing with you under this striking title. The title of this blog didn't come a few minutes ago but a few years ago when I was a little above 11. It came to my mind like someone spoke to me so clearly. So I wrote it in my diary until this day when it finally finds expression in this remarkable blog.

As weird as the title might sound, it is just the truth.

A brick is literally a hard piece of baked clay used for building a house. It is the principal material used in the building of a modern house

You can call this a block and we would still be on the same page.

Just as the literal bricks are used to build a house and would not result magically into a grand mansion until the original quantity of bricks required are brought together and placed in their fitting positions, so are the bricks we were born with.

We were born with this bricks to build our family, neighbourhood, ministry, nation, organization, future, economy, educational, political and banking sector and even our world.

This is in your hands only that a good number of the over 6 billion people gracing the earth today have either not identified this or have belittled their bricks.

They are ever in our hands as our gifts and talents.

They are there as our special abilities. ]

They are there as our passion.

They are there as our life-long dreams and aspirations.

They are there as our dearest prayers.

Now you know!

Lets stop for a moment to imagine a world where everyone deliberately withholds his brick and has refused to fix it in a fitting position in building his family, corporation, ministry, etc. What kind of world would we have!

Imagine if Wilbur and Orville Wright didn't drop theirs in the form of an airplane, or Thomas Edison withheld forever, his idea of the electric lamp or Carl Benz only drove the car that would be driven by the world in his mind alone.

The world would have been a scanty and boring place to live in. You would agree.

What brick do you have to add in the building of the world that you were trusted with life to participate in?

Myles Munroe, in his book, Releasing Your Potential, said;

''you are alive today because God has a purpose for your life and you abuse the gift of life not to fulfill that purpose''.

So my dear friends, there is a book, an art, a movie, a song, a dance, a ministry, a company, an idea, a new way of doing something, a sermon, a speech, a sport and other great bricks in you that would add beauty to the world you and I were sent to build no matter your age, tribe, race and nation.

Add your brick to mine today and lets fulfill the purpose for our living by building a world that both man and God would be proud of.

I love you all precious readers and friends.

Looking forward to seeing your brick.

God bless you.
