Nigeria has suffered the loss of countless precious lives and properties since 2009. That was the year an ugly stranger emerged — Boko Haram , a violent terrorist sect that has plagued our nation ever since. Before Boko Haram ’s rise, Nigeria was already struggling with tribal skirmishes and intermittent religious clashes that often took the lives of innocent Christians. Over the years, cruel public killings have occurred —among the most shocking being the mob killing of Deborah Samuel Yakubu in Sokoto State , murdered by her fellow students who accused her of blasphemy. Tragically, no one was brought to trial for her death. Most of these killings have been carried out by Islamic extremists who claim their actions are in defense of their faith. Across many religion, there is a general acceptance of the rulership of a wise, perfect and omnipotent Supreme Being who have enormous ability to bring to reality some of the most unimaginable yet amazing things. A voice eases pains, tensions, frustrations and actions and where a voice is mute, like an earthquake , everything would seem normal for a long while but just when no one is expecting, it goes completely wrong even resulting in huge destruction of properties and lives. Photo credit:  google.com A voice lets go tension and pressure in the same way the ground tears apart to ease the earth of excess tension and pressure it had withheld for a very long time than it can bear, in a devastating earthquake. The outcome is usually enormous and nearly irreparable and the little that can be done usually almost wipe the affected nation's treasury.
