A common saying quotes 'show me your friend and I will tell you who you are'. The validity of this saying has not been wiped out by civilization itself. The truth remains that a person's friend or friends contributes a large percentage to his or her characters and in the decisions he makes, whether he knows it or not.
Therefore you need friends to get to the top and you also need friends to get down. This may sound a little or much controversial.
There are good friends and there are bad friends.
A good friend is that friend who wants you to prosper using a legitimate or positive method. He could go as far as teaching you or helping you to grasp concepts and ideas that could unleash you to your world and you could also be the one doing this for someone else.
My first ever job was got for me by a friend when I had the excuse to pick crime and say Jobs were scarce like most people do.
In order words he is interested in your success. Even the most time you argue about somethings or have misunderstandings, it is in the interest of the both of you so that you both can rise up on the success ladder.
There are friends that distance, religion, race, tribe or colour cannot put asunder. They were the ones the bible referred to as friends who stick closer than brothers and Irons because they sharpen each other.
You cannot pay them for their friendship and they do not even ask for a pay.
Their words are channeled towards making you a better person even when you resent some.
They are heavens gift to help you materialize your potentials and visions in life.
On the flip side, there are bad friends whose objectives are to set you on the wrong path of life.
I saw a youth on a crime watch television programme who robbed his uncle because his friend advised him to do it. Another one became a pirate because his friend convinced him to come on board.
In the next couple of years, your life will be better or worse because of your friends.
Choose your friends wisely and live a fulfilled life.
