WHAT IS IN A WOMAN

'The way I raised all these kids the man of these house doesn't know about it. He was too busy away', a woman close to me said this.

I saw another heart breaking picture of a mum and her four out-of-this-world handsome boys. The woman who showed me her picture added 'Here is my friend, her husband a top officer in an enviable company in the country just left all of them to be on his own'.

Another shared how she went through terrible health conditions in which every part of her was affected 'I saw well over 40 doctors and all my husband did was play tennis. He never asked me once how I was faring', she said.

These are just a little fraction out of the numerous other experiences that women have in every corner of the world.

The big questions are;

What Value Has a Woman?

Was a woman created to perform below the pass mark in which their men counterparts operate?

Are they so insensitive that they should be left in a tiny cubicle of life where the best they are expected to do is raise kids and do kitchen things while the man enjoys Life Abundant under the global license 'It's a man's world?'.

The answer from researches is NO.

In the region of the world where I come from, you may hear men say What Is In A Woman? Some may even answer and say 'Nothing'. There is no lie as big as this in size.

It is just so bad that even though there is an end to enslavement, a woman still lives under slavery in the home. She has to forgo whatever vision she has had to follow the man's vision. Many didn't write the book that would have changed lives, sing the song that would have blessed lives or even do the business that would have employed many because The Superman said he doesn't want her to. In most part of Africa, a female child is denied formal education as it is viewed as waste of money.

I read about women in Saudi Arabia where the woman didn't have the freedom to hire properties for business or travel without the man's approval. A woman shared how her husband exploited her when she needed to travel. She bribed him severally but the man would still turn her down. Thanks be to God, now the King has lifted such burden on women now and a Saudi Arabian woman can have a good amount of freedom and that has yielded great result as I read about a 24 year old woman in that region whose Publishing business is turning in millions. This is what I am talking about!

The problem also lies on women.

What do you tell your little girl?

Do you ingrain in her young mind that it was Okay for the man to cheat or keep out late as far as he still comes home, pay the children's school fees and provide food?

Do you confirm to her that It is indeed a man's world?

We cannot keep teaching them these ideologies and pray for a change. You have to instill self confidence, spirituality and a positive self esteem coupled with humility and submission to the man.

Remember Oprah Winfrey and Folorunsho Alakija made it as a women and you too can.

As a man, you would not be here without a woman. So support, love and respect the woman.

Much love and God bless Nigeria and everywhere else.

Cheers
